Woodland Park
Known as “The City Above the Clouds,” Woodland Park is between 8,200 and 10,000′ in elevation and sits in a bowl-shaped formation on the northern side of Pikes Peak. With a completely unique perspective of Pikes Peak (the profile), Woodland Park is a separate city in Teller County. There is a small western-themed downtown with institutions like the Donut Mill, Hungry Bear, and Ute Pass Inn, and a mountain suburban community that stretches out for two miles to the north and south. Outside of town are notably private acreage properties.
